The below photo was taken in Tisno. I know you probably have no idea what or where Tisno is. Tisno is a small village at the island of Murter at the Croatian coast. Even though I prefer vivid colors, this photo was meant to be a black and white photograph. What do you think?
The photo was taken with my point-and-shoot (yes, you can get nice shots with a point-and-shot camera) on the way to the beach so you can tell the light is pretty harsh. I needed to remove the date, replace the sky (read: bring in a little bit of clouds) and turn it into black and white. The first edit has a light rose feeling since I replaced the white with a light rose tone in the gradient adjustment (CS5). The second edit is pure black and white. If you have been here earlier and saw only one photo, that’s because mighty Google decided to publish the post before I finished it instead of saving it.
Final question: where is Croatia? It’s the one painted red with all the islands.
