I had a pot of mint on my windowsill that needed to be either used or discarded so I decided to brew some tea and take a photo too! Is there a better way to use bunch of fresh mint than to make a cup of tea? I simply bring the water to a point just short of boiling, let it cool a little bit further, and pour it over the mint. It’s important to keep the water from boiling. 175F/79C is usually the best temperature to brew the tea. I let it sit for a few minutes, drain it, add a bit of raw sugar and enjoy my drink. It’s delicious and it looks good!
